Built for multinational teams
Working in Teams and Organisational Culture speak directly to supervising people from several countries at once, which is the regional norm.
Six subjects aimed squarely at the person who has just started managing other people. Operations, money, teamwork, leadership, culture and staff welfare. Sixty credits, awarded by Qualifi, regulated by Ofqual, with a Level 4 qualification as the next rung.
Note: Duration will be based on your experience and it can be advanced bachelors too which differs from prospects to prospects
Being handed a team rarely comes with instructions. Rotas, budgets, awkward conversations and a sudden duty of care all land at once, usually on someone who was promoted for being good at the job rather than for managing anyone. This diploma is built for that moment, and Qualifi writes that it should help learners realise not just their own potential but that of the organisations they work in.
Six subjects make up the award, and the balance tells you what it is for. Managing Business Operations and An Introduction to Finance handle the mechanics. Working in Teams and An Introduction to Leadership Skills deal with the human side. Organisational Culture asks why a workplace behaves the way it does, and Workplace Welfare covers the responsibility you now carry for other people's wellbeing.
Everything here is mandatory, which sets it apart from several of Qualifi's other Level 3 awards where some subjects are optional. It carries 60 credits, sits at number 603/4373/4 on the Regulated Qualifications Framework, and Qualifi names a Level 4 qualification or direct employment as the routes beyond it.
Leadership skills and team working are taught as subjects in their own right, not as an afterthought to a business syllabus.
Workplace Welfare is compulsory, which reflects the fact that looking after staff is a management duty rather than an HR errand.
An Introduction to Finance gives new managers the numbers literacy they are suddenly expected to have.
All six subjects are compulsory, so nobody finishes without covering operations, money, people and culture.
Organisational Culture asks why workplaces behave as they do, which is usually the part new managers find hardest to read.
Qualifi names a Level 4 qualification as the onward step for learners who want to keep going.

Q
Working in Teams and Organisational Culture speak directly to supervising people from several countries at once, which is the regional norm.
Labour standards across the GCC have tightened, and a compulsory welfare subject helps a new supervisor understand what is expected.
Being moved up internally often happens without formal training. A regulated UK diploma puts something verifiable behind the new title.
Qualifi lists availability as UK and international, so approved centres in the region can offer it.
With no fixed duration set by the awarding body, centres can structure delivery around working hours.

They are separate qualifications with separate numbers and no shared subjects. The business management award looks outward at the environment, resources, marketing and people function of a company. This one looks at the job of managing: operations, finance basics, teams, leadership, culture and welfare. Pick this if you are managing people. Pick the other if you want a general grounding in how a business works.
No. Qualifi expects entry through a centre interview and accepts three starting points: a Level 2 qualification, work experience in a business setting with clear career goals, or a Level 3 qualification in another subject when you want to move into management. Plenty of learners come to it in their first supervisory role, which is the situation the syllabus assumes.
Yes, and that is worth knowing because it is unusual within Qualifi's Level 3 range. Several sibling awards publish a mandatory core plus an optional group. Here all six are required, so there is nothing to choose and no risk of skipping the part you find least comfortable.
Credits are a measure of learning volume rather than of time served. Sixty credits at Level 3 places this among Qualifi's standard-sized awards at that level, roughly half the size of its 120-credit integrated diploma. Qualifi does not publish a total qualification time in hours for this award, so credits are the only official measure of its scale.
An approved centre, not Qualifi. The awarding organisation writes the qualification, regulates the standards and issues the certificate once the centre has assessed you. This is why you should direct questions about start dates, timetables, teaching format and cost to the centre, and questions about the qualification itself to Qualifi.
Qualifi names a Level 4 qualification or employment as the published routes from here, and does not mention a degree year for this particular award. Some of its other Level 3 diplomas do name a university route. If higher education is your plan, check what the universities you have in mind accept rather than assuming this award carries that route.
