Programme Overview

About this Programme

Economics departments used to hire for theory. Gulf employers hire for forecasting, econometrics, and the quantitative habits behind both. This MSc faces that reality: five core management courses first, then ten specialisation courses with a deliberate focus on FinTech, econometrics, and quantitative methods for decision-making, economic modelling, and inference-based data.

Practical projects and seminars run alongside the coursework on the e-Campus, and the format is asynchronous. Fifteen courses across twelve months, extendable to three years at no extra fee for people whose work refuses to cooperate, and in the Gulf it often refuses.

The degree is awarded by Rushford Business School, Switzerland. The forecasts you make afterwards will be tested, and that is exactly the point.

Why Choose

Why Choose This Programme?

01

The quantitative core is the differentiator

Econometrics and statistical methods for decision-making sit at the centre of the degree, which is what applied economics hiring screens for.

02

Forecasting is taught as a discipline

Economic modelling and forecasting run through the specialisation, aimed at the advisory and policy roles that depend on them.

03

FinTech has a seat at the table

Few economics degrees touch financial technology. This one does, and the Gulf's payments and digital banking boom makes that relevant.

04

Swiss award, online delivery

Rushford Business School, Switzerland, awards the MSc. All fifteen courses run on the e-Campus.

05

Instalments in dirhams

Monthly AED payments, interest-free, agreed in writing before the start.

06

Support across the whole year

One success coach for the degree, and advisors in Sharjah in person or on WhatsApp.

An internationally recognised pathway awarded by Rushford Business School .

Why GCC Students Choose This Programme

01

Study from a diversification economy

Fully online, no visa, no career break. The UAE's non-oil sector now contributes over 74% of GDP, and that economy runs on forecasting and analysis.

02

Policy employers need economists

Central banks, sovereign funds, and government strategy offices across the Gulf hire policy analysts and economists on an ongoing basis, and the credential screens matter.

03

The private sector wants them too

Consultancies, banks, and large family groups keep analyst benches for pricing, budgeting, and market forecasting, and the skills gap is real.

04

Employers keep reporting shortages

Across the Gulf, employers keep reporting shortages of qualified candidates, and quantitative economics skills are among the rarest.

05

The extended-duration option respects real life

Up to three years at no additional fee means the degree survives relocations, busy quarters, and family life.

06

FinTech content matches the market

The Gulf's payments and digital banking growth means economists who understand FinTech have more doors open than the ones who do not.

07

Honest take

economics degrees reward people who are willing to sit with a dataset until it confesses. If the quantitative side is what worries you, the cohort and coach support exist for exactly that reason, and the extension option buys the breathing room.
