Programme Overview

About this Programme

HR stopped being a back-office function somewhere around the time retention became a board topic. This MBA treats it that way: the Rushford management core comes first, then a specialisation covering HR strategy, people management, organizational change, talent, engagement, and HR's role in international business and M&A.

The format assumes you have a job, and a busy one. Courses run in three-week blocks in the evenings, assessments mirror real HR work, and the capstone can take a live problem straight from your organisation. Plenty of students finish with a talent or engagement plan their employer ended up adopting, which is as good a result as any grade.

The certificate is issued by Rushford Business School, Switzerland. The better question is what you do with it in the first six months, and that part is yours.

Why Choose

Why Choose This Programme?

01

Keep the role you are upgrading from

Evening sessions, three-week courses, fully online. The degree was scheduled around working lives on purpose.

02

Emiratisation made HR strategic

Every private company with 50 or more staff has annual Emirati hiring targets, and MOHRE now enforces them with data. Someone qualified has to run that file.

03

The syllabus covers the messy parts

Organizational change, HR in M&A, performance and reward. The subjects that separate an HR manager from an HR leader.

04

The award is the full thing

27 courses and a capstone, 90 ECTS total, certificate from Rushford Business School, Switzerland.

05

Pay monthly, in dirhams, interest-free

Instalments sit against your salary date, and the plan is written down before it starts.

06

Real people, locally

A named success coach for the degree and Sharjah-based advisors who answer on WhatsApp. Usually within the day.

An internationally recognised pathway awarded by Rushford Business School .

Why GCC Students Choose This Programme

01

From your desk, not a campus

Fully online, no visa, no career break. The UAE keeps your salary moving while the specialisation builds.

02

Emiratisation is a compliance job now

Under Cabinet Resolution No. 18 of 2022, private firms with 50 or more staff must grow their Emirati skilled workforce annually, and MOHRE monitors it with penalties for non-compliance. That is a permanent demand for qualified HR.

03

Talent is the scarcest thing in the Gulf

With expatriates making up the large majority of Dubai's population, attraction and retention are the business. Employers across the GCC still report skills gaps.

04

Retention is a board topic

Surveys of UAE workers keep showing a large share actively looking for new roles while employed. Companies respond by professionalizing HR, which means hiring people with formal training.

05

Skills-based hiring is spreading

Gulf employers are shifting from credential screening to skills-based hiring, and HR teams are the ones who have to build those systems.

06

The capstone lands in your workplace

Take the final project from your own organisation and finish with a people plan that has already been tested where it will be used.

07

Honest take

an HR MBA opens doors, but it does not replace the CIPD or SHRM certifications some employers ask for in specialist roles. Think of this as the leadership layer on top of your practice, and plan the certificates alongside it if your target role needs them.
