A shorter path to a degree
For a working manager, finishing a degree in one final year rather than three is the difference between possible and not.
Two hundred and forty credits across twelve management subjects, and one published exit worth knowing about: Qualifi lists the final year of a UK honours degree as where this leads. Three ways in, none of them requiring a degree.
Note: Duration will be based on your experience and it can be advanced bachelors too which differs from prospects to prospects
Most people who end up running something learn it by being handed responsibility and working it out. This award is built for the point after that, when the job has been done for a while and the paperwork has not caught up. Qualifi sets out three ways in, and a qualification is only one of them.
Twelve subjects cover the ground a working manager actually meets. Leadership, communication and developing teams deal with people. Financial awareness, business operations and effective decision making deal with running things. Managing change, responding to the changing business environment, risk management, customer management, business development and business models and growing organisations deal with what happens when conditions shift.
The size matters here. Completing the award is worth 240 credits, four times a standard Level 3 diploma, and Qualifi's published progression route is the final year of a UK university honours degree. Not the first year — the last one. The qualification number is 610/1675/5 and the award is accredited at Level 5 on the framework.
Qualifi's published exit is the final year of a UK honours degree, which is the shortest published route to a degree in its whole range.
Managerial work with clear career goals is listed as an entry route in its own right. No certificate required for that door.
Leadership and team development sit alongside financial awareness, which is how the job actually works.
Three of the twelve subjects deal with shifting conditions: managing change, responding to the business environment, and risk.
Holding a first degree in something else and wanting to move into business is a published entry route.
At 240 credits this is a substantial commitment, and the credit value reflects that.

That is the route Qualifi publishes, and 240 credits at Level 5 is why. What it cannot do is hand you the place. The university decides whether to admit you, which course it will admit you to, and what else it wants to see. Qualifi spells that caveat out in black and white elsewhere in its Level 5 range. Approach the universities you are interested in early and ask them directly.
Possibly, yes. Qualifi lists work experience at a managerial level, together with ambition and clear career goals, as an entry route standing on its own. It does not ask for a certificate alongside it. What it does not define is how many years count, so the judgement falls to the approved centre reviewing your application. Set out your responsibilities plainly and let them assess it.
Not on this page. Qualifi publishes three entry bullets here and none mentions age or IELTS, even though several of its other Level 5 diplomas state 18 and over with IELTS 6. We are not going to fill that silence with another award's rules. Ask your centre what it applies in practice, because centres can set their own admission checks on top of Qualifi's.
Two levels and four times the size. The Level 3 award is 60 credits, introduces the subject and exits to a Level 4 certificate or the start of a degree. This is 240 credits, assumes you are already working at or near management, adds leadership as a full theme, and exits at the far end of a degree instead of the beginning.
The page lists twelve and does not mark any as optional, nor does it publish credit values for individual subjects. So we cannot tell you whether there is choice inside the programme or how the 240 credits are split. Qualifi's combined specification for its business diplomas holds that detail, and your centre can walk you through it before you enrol.
Not from the awarding body. Qualifi puts no duration on this award and no fee, and unusually it does not publish a total qualification time either, so there is not even a notional hours figure to reason from. Both answers come from the approved centre delivering the teaching, since Qualifi writes and regulates the qualification but runs no classes itself.
