Programme Overview

About this Programme

A finance career rewards people who can do two things at once: hold the technical line on investments, securities, and corporate finance, and explain the position to everyone else in the room. This MBA trains both. The Rushford management core runs first, then the specialisation goes through investments, corporate investment management, international finance, portfolio management, securities analysis, and hedge fund management, with electives covering borrowing, fundraising, and collections.

Courses last about three weeks, classes sit in the evenings, and the assessments copy the work: simulations, projects, and a capstone on a live financial question. Students in banking and corporate finance tend to bring problems from their own desks, which keeps the degree honest.

Rushford Business School, Switzerland, issues the certificate. The positions it opens depend on what you do with the evenings you invest.

Why GCC Students Choose This Programme

01

Study inside a financial hub

Fully online, no visa, no career break. The UAE's banking assets sit above AED 4.1 trillion, and you can study from anywhere in it.

02

Hiring runs from mid-level upward

UAE banking hiring shows structural demand in risk, treasury, digital banking, and Islamic finance, with senior risk and treasury roles among the hardest to fill.

03

Regulation raised the bar on credentials

Post-2024 regulatory tightening means compliance, risk, and governance roles now screen hard for formal qualifications. The MBA clears that screen.

04

Fintech wants hybrids

Banks and fintechs compete for people who understand both finance and technology, which keeps formal qualifications in demand.

05

The skill gap is documented

Across the Gulf, employers keep reporting shortages of qualified candidates, and finance functions are among the most affected.

06

The capstone can be a live deal

Take the final project from your own portfolio, desk, or company and finish with an analysis you can actually present.

07

Honest take

an MBA in finance is a management credential, not a CFA substitute. If your destination is pure investment analysis, the charter is still the route, and this degree works best alongside or before it.
