Programme Overview

About this Programme

Hospitality looks effortless from the guest's side of the desk. Behind it sits operations, law, destination strategy, events, sustainability, and increasingly technology. This MBA covers the whole back of house: the Rushford management core first, then a specialisation running from hotel management fundamentals through tourism operations, environment and law, to event management and destination strategy.

It runs around working lives, including the double shifts. Courses last two to three weeks, classes sit in the evenings, and the capstone can take a live question from your property or destination: an occupancy problem, an event concept, a guest experience gap. In the busiest tourism market in the region, material will not be the issue.

Rushford Business School, Switzerland, signs the certificate. The occupancy numbers you move afterwards are yours, and your general manager will notice.

Why GCC Students Choose This Programme

01

Study from the world's busiest hotel market

Fully online, no visa, no career break. Dubai alone held 154,264 rooms across 827 establishments in 2025, and you can study from any of the emirates.

02

The visitor numbers keep setting records

The Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism reports 19.59 million international overnight visitors in 2025, up 5% year on year, with average occupancy at 80.7%. Three record years running.

03

Revenue management is getting serious

Average daily rates in Dubai reached AED 579 in 2025, and RevPAR crossed AED 460. Numbers like that attract professionally trained management.

04

The events calendar never stops

Between exhibitions, sport, and entertainment, Gulf destinations run a year-round events economy that needs planners with formal training.

05

Sustainability is becoming a procurement question

Sustainable tourism electives match where Gulf mega projects and hotel groups are heading, with green credentials increasingly written into contracts.

06

The capstone can be your property's problem

Take the final project from your own operation and graduate with a deliverable your general manager has already seen.

07

Honest take

hospitality promotes on results more than credentials, so treat the capstone as the piece of this degree that carries your promotion case. The certificate opens the interview; the project wins it.
